On 23rd April, David N Payne from University of Southampton, gave us
a talk on the development of optical fibers and photonics. He was very
glad to receive a gift from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Student
Chapter of OSA and look forward to some international activities
between our chapter and the OSA Student Chapter of University of
Southampton.
