On Dec. 14th, 2007, all members of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Student Chapter of the OSA visited Alcatel-Lucent Optics Division. Together with his colleagues, Dr. QIN, Yuandong, manager of the Wave Division Department, gave us a brief introduction of the company and the optical transmission products. This activity has built a relationship between the chapter and this top company in the world, and became a good start to develop the chapter. The members said that this visit broadened their views and promoted the activities of our chapter.
