Tong Ye

Tong Ye received the B.S. and M.S. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology, Chengdu, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2005. He was with the Department of Information Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong before he joined the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, as a Lecture in 2006. His research interests mainly focus on ultra-high-speed transmission and modulation formats, optical signal processing, and photonic logic. He has over 20 publications in prestigious international journals and conferences, such as IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications (JSAC), IEEE Journal of Lightwave Technology (JLT) paper, and IEEE Communications Letters paper.
