Introdution |

Min Qiu received the B.Sc. degree from the Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree in Condense Matter Physics from the same university in 1999. He received his second Ph.D. degree in Electromagnetic Theory from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, in 2001. In 2001 he joined the Department of Microelectronics and Applied Physics, at the same university, where he is currently an associate professor at the Laboratory of Optics, Photonics and Quantum Electronics. He is an author or co-author of more than 60 international refereed journal papers, and more than 40 conference contributions. He is the recipient of the Individual Grants for the Advancement of Research Leaders (INGVAR) from the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) in 2004. His research interests include photonic crystals, plasmonic optics, integrated optical circuits, and numerical techniques in electromagnetics. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Optical Society of America (OSA).
