Biography

He enrolled in EE department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in September 2005 as a mater student of Communication& Information System.
During the master study, he took part in “Optical Packet Switching Network” which is supported by 863 program. He investigated the OPS structure and network, and proposed a novel tunable optical buffer scheme based on a re-circulating loop, analysis the cascadability of the optical buffer.
After this program, he enrolled in the“Time Domain Wavelength Interleaving Network based on Optical Self-routing” which is supported by Shanghai Optical Science and Technology. His work included circuit design such as 1.25Gb/s transceivers design, and system debugging in Gigabit Ethernet network.
Then he participated ”Advanced Modulation Format for Ultra-high Speed Optical Transmission” which is supported by Shanghai Rising Star Program, and “Research and Application of Novel Modulators and Advanced Phase Modulation Format” which is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China. His responsibility are analyzing and generating hybrid modulation formats in high speed transmission systems.
Also he did contributions in “Key Technologies Research of WDM/TDM Mesh Network” which is supported by NSFC. He investigated the application of novel optical components in WDM/TDM network.
He Became a co-president of Student Forum of OSA (Optical Society of America), 05/2007
He Became IEEE Student Member, 12/2006
During 2005-2007, he published more than 5 Journal & Conference papers, and applied for 3 China patents and 1 US patent.
He is good at optical transmission subsystem design & analysis, such as optical buffer design, optic-electronic module; he master optical simulation tools, such as OptiSystem, VPI; he also good at Matlab, FPGA design, Labview programming.

Main research fields:Subsystem Design & Analysis , High Speed Transmission System Desin, Advanced Modulation Format Research
